Rev. Ago Uchenna Stanley

Rev. Ago Uchenna Stanley is a devoted minister of the Gospel with over thirty-three (33) years of full-time service in the Assemblies of God Church, Nigeria. His ministry has taken him to both urban and rural communities, where he has served faithfully with a deep concern for souls and a commitment to sound biblical teaching.

Known for his humility, sound doctrine, and evangelistic zeal, Rev. Ago currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the Assemblies of God Church, Coal Camp, Enugu, where his leadership continues to foster spiritual growth, revival, and strong Christian fellowship.

Rev. Ago’s theological and ministerial foundation is both solid and diverse. He holds three Diplomas in Theology from the Assemblies of God Divinity School of Nigeria, Old Umuahia, Abia State (affiliated with the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State), and Hope Bible College, Emmaus Bible Centre Mission Africa, Dublin, Ireland. He also earned a Degree Certification in Mission and Communication from the Assemblies of God Divinity School of Nigeria, Old Umuahia, in affiliation with the University of Uyo. He later obtained a master’s degree in theology, specializing in Missions and Communication, from Bethel Theology Seminary, an affiliate of New Covenant International University and Theological Seminary, Florida, USA.

Throughout his ministerial career, Rev. Ago has served in various capacities that reflect his versatility and depth of calling. He is a marriage counsellor, revivalist, church planter, and teacher of the Word, with a strong passion for strengthening families and equipping believers for Christian living. He has also worked extensively with external Christian organizations, notably serving as a Coordinator at Emmaus Bible Nation Centre, Enugu State, where he contributed to leadership development and missionary engagement. His ministry is marked by a balance of pastoral care, evangelism, and sound biblical teaching.

Rev. Ago’s calling extends beyond the church walls into institutional and outreach ministries. He is a regular prison minister at the Enugu Correctional Centre, where he consistently brings hope, restoration, and the message of redemption to inmates. He also serves as a Police Chaplain, ministering to both officers and inmates and providing spiritual guidance, counselling, and support in challenging situations.

In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Rev. Ago is the Media Coordinator for the Enugu South District of the Assemblies of God, serves as Chaplain and Outreach Coordinator at the OGEMEK Charity Foundation, where he leads humanitarian and evangelistic programs that meet both spiritual and social needs, and is a member of the foundation’s Board of Directors.

Outside ministry, he enjoys football and appreciates gospel music. Rev Ago is happily married and blessed with six children: four sons and two daughters.
