Mrs. May Oluchi Okonkwor is the Founder and Director of Treasure Heights Schools in Enugu, where she serves as a Montessori Curriculum Specialist. She is also the Founder of SkilDev Foundation.

She has professional experience working with Treasure Heights Schools in Enugu, Montessori School of Northern Virginia in the USA, Prime Care Learning Centers in the USA, Modern Montessori International in London, and SkilDev Foundation in Lagos and the United States.

Mrs. May holds a Master’s degree in Educational Management from the University of Calabar, a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Lagos State University, and a Diploma in Social Work for Development from the University of Jos. She also received Montessori training at Barrie’s Institute for Advanced Montessori Education in Maryland, USA (ages 6–12), and at Modern Montessori International in London (ages 0–6). She also holds professional certifications from the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education’s Orton-Gillingham Program in National Reading, the Center for Guided Montessori Studies, and programs organized by the British Council and the World Bank Institute through the Millennium Development Nigeria Chapter.

Mrs. May currently serves on the Board of Directors of OgeMek Foundation and is a Member of the Board of Youth Bank Worldwide. She is a member of the American Montessori Society and the Association Montessori Internationale.

Mrs. May is a devoted Christian , married with lovely children and a grandson.
