Dr. Florence Ihekeremma Onuoha

Dr. Florence Ihekeremma Onuoha is a Chartered Psychologist (CPSYCH) and Certified Clinical Developmental Psychologist with over twelve years of experience in mental health practice and social care. Her work focuses on mental health assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, with experience addressing anxiety, depression, workplace stress, burnout, low motivation, and family and relationship challenges.

She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology, an M.Sc in Developmental Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PDE).

Dr. Onuoha is a member of several professional and mental health organizations, including the Nigerian Psychological Association, the Institute of Chartered Psychologists of Nigeria, the International Society of Substance Use Professionals, and the Association of Lifespan Behaviour Developmental Practitioners. She is also involved with organizations such as Asido Foundation, ASIDO Mental Health Foundation, Akoma Tele Health Foundation, and the Arc. David Onuoha Community Aid Foundation.

She currently serves as Psychologist and Indigent Patients Welfare Manager at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu, and is the Editor of the UNTH Foundation Newsletter. She is Co-Founder of the Arc. David Onuoha Community Aid Foundation, Director of PAPIN (a non-governmental organization), and the National Secretary of the Association of Lifespan Behaviour Developmental Practitioners Nigeria. She is also a Pastor with the Methodist Church Nigeria and a member of the Board of Directors of Ogemek Charity Foundation.

Dr. Onuoha’s work has earned professional recognition, including the EZINEE Award from the Methodist Church Nigeria. She is also a regular discussant on radio and television, contributing to public conversations on mental health, human development, and psychosocial well-being, with a particular professional interest in adolescents and young people.
