Chika Lilian Mbaneme is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of experience and a strong track record in driving business growth and operational excellence.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB) and a Chartered Banker (CBMBA) from Bangor University, Wales, and a member of the Chartered Banker Institute, the largest professional body for bankers in the UK. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and an M.Sc. in Mass Communications.

Throughout her career, Chika has developed extensive expertise across diverse banking and financial services, including Treasury, Financial Institutions Marketing, Private Banking, Treasury Sales, Retail and SME Banking, Diaspora & Expatriate Banking, and the Public Sector, with strengths in Retail, Private Banking, and Treasury Marketing. She is skilled at identifying opportunities, especially in Wealth Management, Treasury, and the Non-Bank Financial Institutions market, and delivering tailored solutions that drive organizational growth and profitability.

Chika in her leadership roles, has supervised over 100 direct and indirect reports across the five South East states as a Regional Executive covering Retail, SME, Commercial, and Private Banking sectors. She currently serves at Fidelity Bank PLC, where she champions operational excellence, team development, and customer-focused initiatives.
