MISSION
To empower orphaned and vulnerable children, widows and widowers, and committed disadvantaged youths (volunteers) through access to education, medical and health awareness, skill training including digital and vocational skills and sustainable support systems including mentorship program. We are committed to restoring hope, dignity, and economic independence across local and global communities.
MAIN OBJECTIVE
To provide a holistic transformation for orphans, widows, widowers and some disadvantaged or vulnerable committed young people by offering training, empowerment and exposure to life-changing innovations.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The Organization shall have the following specific objectives:
- To provide shelter, education, healthcare, and emotional support to orphaned and vulnerable children.
- To establish scholarship schemes and mentorship programs for orphans (who lost both parents) and some disadvantaged youths who will be serve as volunteers for OGEMEK
- To support widows and widowers (aged 18 – 50) through economic empowerment or skill training, business loans (for committed clients who meet the organisation requirements), mentorship, life coaching and counselling.
- Organize free medical outreaches, including routine checkups, treatments, and health education campaigns.
- Provide training in tech (like digital marketing, coding, design) and non-tech (fashion, beauty, catering, etc.) to unemployed and underprivileged individuals.
- Partner with local and global organizations to implement community-based development projects.
- Launch small-scale business grants and cooperative training initiatives.
