
Owuamalam, Chika Florence is a trained educator and social worker with over 21 years of experience in both classroom and administrative roles in schools and non-governmental organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language from the University of Nigeria and a master’s degree in Organisational Leadership.
She has spent over 15 years in leadership positions within top schools and NGOs, contributing to their growth and effective management. As a social worker and counsellor, she specializes in creating, monitoring, and evaluating programs aimed at supporting underprivileged individuals and communities.
Chika began her journey at Ogemek Charity Foundation as the pioneer Program and Project Manager in 2019 and now serves as the Executive Director, overseeing the foundation’s operations and strategic development. She also serves as a trustee, ensuring the smooth running of the organization’s structure.
Her professional development includes multiple trainings with the British Council on communicating with children, classroom management, and program monitoring and evaluation. She has also collaborated with USAID on identifying vulnerable populations and with Hope Worldwide on counselling and monitoring individuals living with HIV and AIDS.
As a trained educator and counsellor, Chika applies her expertise to identify challenges and implement effective solutions for the underprivileged communities she serves. She is a wife and a proud mother of four.
